Photographs are so many things. Not only do they capture a moment in time; they convey and elicit feelings, moments of connection - with nature, between people, with the surrounding environment. Photographs can rouse empathy and kindness in people, make them something more than a passive viewer.

I aim to capture the essence of a place, the energy and feeling of a situation, with the hope of inspiring people - to visit a new place, to view a situation with a different eye, to feel the connection that a photograph can hold.

I hope that when you view these images you will feel like you are there - looking up at the canopy of the trees, feeling the smiles of the people, hearing the bustle of the city.
